Daddy loves my sister and I more than anything in this world. For us he had stayed in the government service for 30 years eventhough he could get better job opportunity in the private sector. I remember daddy saying that he won’t have the flexibility and time to spend with my sis and I if he worked in the private sector. ( I think most of you know what I mean ). I know of many parents who will leave their children with their grandparents or aunts or uncles when their parents go for vacation. But that is not the case in my family. My parents always bring us along for holidays. We surely go somewhere together during school holidays. I am very close to my daddy especially since my sister was born because my mummy have to take care of my little sister. Since I learned to stand on my two feet, my daddy never fail to bring me for evening walks. Every evening I would wait happily for my daddy to come home from walk and take me for a walk. I love to ‘walk-walk’ with my daddy so much that even when it rains we will go out with the umbrella. I am also one of those lucky gal who gets a birthday cake and presents every year without fail. As I entered my teens I became very rebellious. Daddy say one i say 2…daddy say black I say white…daddy say 2 words I say 20 words. I always argue with my daddy and make him very very angry and sad. My BAD. But daddy will talk to me and comfort me and make up to me few days later. Even now once a while i still argue with my daddy but these days I will apologize and make up to him.

Daddy is very sporting. I can joke with him on most matters and openly talk to us bout taboo issues like sex.. He brought me to arcade, taught me how to drink alcoholic drinks and never forbade me from going to discos and pubs. Well, yeahh I never go to clubs and pubs secretly. He never forced us to study or take up tuitions or forbade me from any school activities. Daddy can be strict in his own way and in certain matters but most of the time he gave his trust to my sis and I to make our own decision. Eventhough we are not rich and my daddy is the only breadwinner in the family, we are never deprive of anything. My daddy sent us to organ, art and computer classes. He bought us lots of story books and soft toys. I wanted to learn in-line skating so daddy bought my sis and I a pair each. I like to eat sugar cane so daddy planted sugar cane in front of our house. I never own video games or branded stuffs or go for holidays overseas but I got lots and lots of love from my parents.

Sometimes I wish I could take back all the hurtful words I said to my daddy. Sometimes I wish I could spend more time with my parents and now that I am working I wish I had the money to bring them for holidays and make their life more comfortable and make them happier. Sometimes I wish I can see them everyday.
